    Take out those P. K. Dick novels, he's an uneven and convoluted. 'Rendezvous with Rama', 'The Songs of Distant Earth' by Sir Arthur C. Clarke, or some of Robert Heinlein's work are far more important.

    Yes, atlas shrugged and animal farm arent sci-fi and timeline sucked almost as much as Prey (same author). There are some books I've been meaning to read, some I've never heard of, and some I have been fortunate to read that changed my life.

    I am always looking for good book sugestions; however, as good as "Atlas shrugged" is I don' t think it a sci-fi, but sure why not.

    I agree that quite a few of these books can't really be classified as science fiction. If you rule those out, I've read most of the books on the list. I'll look into the others I have missed.

    I have to say it is a good list and I have read a few...however I am weaning myself off Sci Fi or trying hard I've switched to intrigue and drama these days..course if a Sci Fi book looks good at the library home it comes
