    Some good tutorials for photoshop but some ideas can be applied to gimp, too. BTW, a good site for gimp tutorials is in the Gimp User Group (GUG) site. A good example from GUG is:

    there are a lot of good photoshop tutorials but when I clicked on flash or art there was nothing. From "Flash"- "Sorry, currently no flash tutorials available. Expect them here at January the first, 2002."

    So many of those tutorials are ripped off from other sites. It IS a really nice collection, but I am not a fan of reusing other people's stuff without giving proper credit or even mentioning that they aren't yours. The closest we get is this sticky little statement: "All tutorials are situated on this site. This means that these tutorials are not links to other site."     This site is one of the most informative, well layed out, and good looking sites I've ever run across. I also need all the help I can get with PhotoShop, and it seems I can find a great deal of it here. Thanks guys!
