- This is inside the 30k radius following the Chernobyl disaster.
The tragedy of it was awful. Anyone who ever saw images of the aftermath would agree.
BUT...
These pictures are incredible.
This is a public swimming pool that was abandoned in 1996.
And this is how it looked in 2005.

- On April 26, 1986 there was an explosion at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The radioactive contamination made living anywhere near the plant or surrounding areas impossible. Eight years later photographer David McMillan decided to go into some of the towns and take these incredible photos. As interesting as it sounds there's no way in hell I'd be caught anywhere near there.
