- Yes I understand what Tristo is trying to say but we only construe such things to be beautiful because of how the media portray "beauty" and what the socially expected norm is. Well done dove.

- From the page: "our perception of beauty is distorted." How so? The end result is more beautiful. It's not distorting beauty. We ALREADY consider that beautiful. Maybe it's distorting our realistic expectations, but our idea of beauty is not overweight women with bags under their eyes, no matter how much some may want it to be.
