    I have seen and or used almost all of these screens at some point. I'm not saying this to puff myself up, but it seems like the dude just went on gnome-look.org and picked out the most popular GDM themes.

Anyway, all display managers (or login screens) are really just background images with input boxes and sometimes they have buttons. Personally, none of these struck me as being all that impressive. Even some of the default SLiM themes, I thought, were better than these.
