voyagerfan5761 rated 4 months ago- It's pretty big - you'll either have to use a big monitor or scroll a lot - but it's interesting.

brysonmeunier rated 5 months ago- Voici the underbelly of Google.

jameszol rated 5 months ago- I'm glad Google is tackling their power consumption issues.

lowtechmagazine rated 5 months ago- From the page: "In 2006 American datacenters consumed more power than American televisions"

jcburns rated 5 months ago- Harpers looks at Google's secretive 'Project 02' datacenter in The Dalles, Oregon, and pronounces it "evil." I think I give them points for their alt-energy initiatives and I think if any entity will find a way to make alternative clean energy production a big part of the mainstream, it will be a huge and hopefully benevolent company with one hell of a lot of servers to power and cool. I agree with the subtext that this is a test of Google's potential evilness...I just don't think they've traipsed across that line yet.

- It's interesting to learn about their energy consumption... but I don't know why there's the nefarious tone to it. I like Google. I think they do more good than harm.
