well, can't really argue with an article when i'm not affected, though, wondering, won't just using a phone to call would be better than texting? afterall, sms is not really designed for chatting, else it would've been called cms.

Charging anything to transmit such a trivial amount of data over a network that you already pay for access to really preys on the customer's lack of knowledge.

A great explanation on the true costs of texting data. Don't agree with all of it, for instance the abilty to recieve a text message anywhere (in the world?) instantly is much different than recieving a letter at a specific address (probably) in a week (or so).
