Hm, I wonder whether this sign is real. I can't see the Dept. of Education putting it up. Anyhow. I support a lot of small stores that offer helpful service and reasonable prices. I don't ask them to complete with Walmart, just offer good service and don't jack up the prices too much. Local stores that make me pay 100% or more extra don't get my cash. Well run businesses do. Here in a small town of 15,000 in North Dakota, we had a real good ol' boy monopoly by local store owners that limited competition and sold you a limited selection of spoiled food at high prices. And got pissed off if you asked for help. Good riddance.
