Very interesting concept, technically. It's a torrent-like real-time video streaming content delivery network. The download package sets up a little localhost webserver in which your Windows media player connects to to request content. The server relays the request to gridnetwork's peer-to-peer network of servers to get your high definition content delivered in pretty much real time (very short buffering time for me and I'm on a garden variety comcast cable modem). Download their connector package and take a look at the sample content, it's quite impressive. I worked for Jeff Payne (the CTO and inventor of this idea) at realnetworks in the late 90s, who also created spry's "internet in a box" (for all you old timers that can remember that far back), and it's good to see him getting some traction on this idea. It's well thought out and scalable. I hope he can get the television networks involved to make full bandwidth internet television a reality.
