How many of these did you already know? Betcha not many... 1. If your throat tickles, scratch your ear! When you were 9, playing your armpit was a cool trick. Now, as an adult, you can still appreciate a good body-based feat, but you're more discriminating. Take that tickle in your... more

really interesting collection of information. maybe i won't remember all these fixes but it's cool to see the ways different systems interact.

I've done some of the things here (not because of this list) and they do what they're supposed to. I don't know about the rest of them, they seem like silly fixes for things that could be solved another way. Throat tickles? Drink water. Number 4? Suck it up and wait the 1 second until the injection is over. Number 5? Blow your nose, take a sinus Advil, and suck it up. Number 8? I doubt the first thing on your mind after you singe your finger on a burning hot stove is going to be, "Oh shit, this will probably blister." Number 11? I've never choked on my own blood while doing the nose pinch/head back move. The rest of them are equally useless, except for number 3, which definitely works, although not with Jessica Simpson. So thumbs down for wasting my time and making me rage at the uselessness of it all. (P.S. Don't call it knowledge if you don't know if it's true or not.)

Glad to know that sinuses could be eased by the tactic. I will personally test it:) and also an interesting reading on the breath underwater that lead me to shallow water blackout. This blackout is indeed dangerous and you should learn about this and avoid it.

Fun stuff to know. I have been in medicine 30 years and some of these were new to me. Worth taking a look, especially at stopping a nose bleed.

Some pretty neat stuff here, although I thought the Jessica Simpson reference was dumb.
