..I was watching the world news earlier and they were doing a report on the abuse/neglect in some Serbian mental institutions.. ..the photos they showed were pretty brutal.. ..but at the end, the reporter said "..this was just the tip of the iceberg. the rest of the photos were just too disturbing to show."
..thank you for saving me from the truth in the world. I'm glad some news exec feels like I can't handle the truth. ..perhaps if we saw the WHOLE truth in the news, photos like this and the ones that are "just too brutal to show" wouldn't exist because people would be sickened to what their fellow "human" is capable of doing to others and something might be done about it.
..sadly tho.. none of this will happen. ..the brutal truth gets washed and cleaned and spun dry more and more ever day or buried under a carpet of, to quote Sgt. Shultz, "I see NOTHING!". ..and thus, fails to exist.
