Not very accurate. Culturally, and as a Minnesotan, I would classify anything south or west of the Upper Midwest (Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan) as part of the "right wing loonies" camp. Chicagoland is wholly within our region, but the rest of Illinois is not. Pennsylvania should be in the Northeast. West Virginia belongs to the red Bible Belt. "Mountains" region (and Alaska) is NRA loonies.
