Ok, even if this was true, the batteries wouldn't last nearly as long as regular AAs. If you would really like to save money, buy rechargeable batteries like superbeastie said in his post. Also, both rubyjules and Sololop are partly right in their belief that the batteries would not work proper...

there is another way to save money on batteries without potentially harming yourself.. its called rechargeable batteries. idiots. please don't try this lol.
Nice try, but someone also tried to convince me that a car battery holds a bunch of AA batteries. I didn't fall for it then and I'm not falling for it now.
