This is the largest turbine in the world, spanning 367 feet. It can power 4,000 homes. There should be more of these in the US - I think I've seen 6 where I live and I might have been drunk, so half that. When I was driving into San Francisco on I-80 last month, there were thousands of them. Those that say they're ugly need to be kicked between the legs. They're much prettier than brown death-air.

Wind energy is a reality, in Germany the manufacturers of the world's biggest wind turbine have claimed this construction will provide enough energy for 4,000 homes.
