- If you're wondering why your site is slow, maybe you don't really know what's going on? I certainly wouldn't, which is why I would hire someone who does. And when you do hire someone, listen to them. How many times have I seen it where someone with expertise in a particular area is hired but their advice not taken? Why bother in the first place? Hiring that person could look pretty cheap if they can speed up your site so that you're not losing people because they're so annoyed with you. I guess the Internet isn't quite plug and play, particularly on the back end. Good to know!
