From the page: "Thresholds for statistical significance levels (alphas) and p-values were not used, as publication in these prestigious journals is sufficient to ensure the quality of results."

He even considers considering the study itself as a data point in the study.- Candidate PhD Gregory Hill discovers a correlation between correlation and causation. He then infers that the correlation between correlation and causation implies causation, and therefore concludes that correlation does imply causation, contrary to popular belief.

demonveen rated 9 months ago- This study is great as joke or junk science -- it has a crucial flaw because, in choosing scientific articles it only considers those conditions where a positive relationship of correlation and causation has been demonstrated. In other words -- by the time something becomes a study, most of the cases of empty correlation have been filtered out. On the one hand this seems obvious, but since the author of the "study" doesn't point it out, or even really wink at us, I felt obligated to point out the joke.

seajohnkayak rated 9 months ago- Thanks for the post TR1N4.

TR1N4 rated 9 months ago- Wait, you mean correlation DOES imply causation? Get Heizenberg on the phone.
