  • Get Satisfaction - People-Powered Customer Service

This website is onto a great idea. I'm just getting into the whole Twitter business, and was trying out the Twitbin Firefox add-on. It wasn't working so well, so I tweeted that I was looking for an alternative. Later the same day, GetSatisfaction replied to my tweet stating that... more

SU's use of Getsatisfaction is UNACCEPTABLE! There is no chance I'm going to be "logging into" their site .. or connecting my FB or Twitter account to SU. If i wanted to do that ... well then i would put links up BUT I DONT! FU SU for even attempting to link my SU and FB account. If you want feedback for SU then only make me log into SU. Surprise surprise, im ALREADY logged into SU.

So I enter a comment on the feedback sidebar and then start receiving countless emails about others who feel the same way over the period of several days. I click on the button to change my SU settings and it sends me to this stupid site. WTF?! SU gave my email and info to another company? Why would they do this? To my surprise it was to provide "customer service"! I'm sure I am not the only one who feels pushed off by this. One customer service rep trying to answer thousand of pissed off customers questions and concerns about the "NEW Improved SU". I think this is a sign that SU is starting to fade. Looks like most of these comments are falling on deaf ears. I don't log on to SU to check comments about SU, it's a self defeating distraction that turns off more people than it helps. Get with the program people! You had a good thing going and this will help you lose more than you will ever gain with "the new SU". And don't pawn off your CS to some other place with a new login and password to remember without letting your members know that their info is being handed off to another company, that's just lame.

The jump from the free version to $99 USD per month is a bit steep, but well worth it. Just hard to justify for some clients when they really should upgrade. Absolutely love it!

Very, very impressive customer service platform. If you could even call it that... it's so 2.0 it hurts :) I actually came across this through using customer service for a company and marveling at how good it was... digging deeper and found out why!

From the page: "Get Satisfaction is a place where people can get the most from the products they use, and where companies are encouraged to get real with their customers. "
