See if your memory is as good as a chimp's - Fun game!

I like it, I like it a lot, I'm not smarter than a chimp, but I say he cheats!

It isn't accurate. The chimp is probably given the test a variable amount of times, before he is tested on his memory, whereas the site implies that we have to know everything on the first try.

the numbers are a little too far apart for me to see them all every time; in Brain Age I can do seven numbers fairly reliably.

I think part of it is the fact that the chimp was trained to do this, I bet I could average over an 8 with some training, considering I averaged about a 6-7 doing this the first couple times.

First try, 9/10, beat the chimp, I guess I'm smarter than the chimp. Er, well, not smarter, but I have a better memory at least. Whatever. Cute enough distraction for a minute or two. :)

CNN has a mini version - sort of - that they had with the original story on the chimps - http://edition.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/12/03/chimp.memory.ap/ind ex.html#cnnSTCOther2 - got a 4 out of 4 on that first try too. So I'm apparently a bit of a freak. (Not that that's news to me.)

(Having a semi-eidetic memory helps a lot, even if researchers have proven that chimps have a more developed eidetic memory than humans. I still have a bit of one. Dammit.)

I didnt get one right... I always get one number wrong because I don't have enough time to take them all in.
