Old news. Still screwed up, but I'm tired of reading about it.

Atheism is destroying America and killing children? That's funny, one would think the separation of church and state would have led to an increase in the number of deaths among children. Sorry to burst your bubble, but clinging to a past that is no longer useful or relevant is destroying things, not a lack of belief in an invisible man in the sky.

As Eric Zorn of the Chicago Tribune puts it, "consider what the outcry would have been if a lawmaker had launched a similar attack on the beliefs of a religious person." If that happened, you might have actually heard about this story by now. It would be playing on news stations everywhere. But since the attack is on atheists, this is likely the first time you've read anything about it.

key line: "Davis: It's dangerous to the progression of this state. And it's dangerous for our children to even know that your philosophy exists!" Are humans intelligent enough - do they have the correct education and social structure to handle not having mythology at the heart of their ideology?

The unfortunate thing, Lillake, is how rare the two are the same.
