It's really hard to give someone an answer over the phone or not about how to actually "get things done" programmatically. Ah well, worth a chuckle...

Wow, someone asks an interesting question ("What is programming and how can I learn it?") and the answers in this thread range from (quote) "incompetence" to "stupidity". All that guy wanted was a hint where to start, not to be taught programming over the phone. Anyone can learn to program a computer. Teh intarwebs are full of jerks, and my fellow programmers fail to make a difference here. *sigh*

I hate people that think that it's just like you type in "make Halo(cool, epic)" and it makes Halo just like that. They have absolutely no idea how it's done.
