medog rated 3 weeks ago- I don't understand nationalism and I never will!

PANDAsuit rated 11 months ago- Presenting nationalism in light of anarchy... interesting

zhangyy rated 11 months ago- a guy suddenly appeared...and never came back

Wolf-Avenger rated 22 months ago- Even if you're not an anarchist, I think this is important to think about. I get unbelievably frustrated when I talk to Americans who believe that an American life is worth more than a life of a citizen of another country. I once met a military recruiter who told me he would kill thousands of Iraqi civilians to save the life of a single soldier. I hope he didn't really mean that, but still, what a horrible thing to say! That is why I really hate nationalism. Oh yea, the actually page isn't actually that good, but it's a worthy message.

littlewhite rated 24 months ago- Well, I kind of agree: nationalism is a social evil. But this old, boring, poorly-written rhetoric is hardly helping the cause...?

lcfr rated 24 months ago- Oh yea, something for my cause. I hate the world as it is right now. But I don't think I'd go all the way and support Anarcho-primitivism. Anti-nationalism is great. :)

TedizTrooper rated 27 months ago- Though I really never agree with Anarchy... It's ideas are a good tool to fight the crap they name there.

commerican rated 29 months ago- Socialists have similar problems with people misusing and mislabeling themselves.

I-Am-Wolfman rated 32 months ago- "Sometimes nationalists use Christianity as a religion to rally around in order to be Populist. Other times they use paganism to seem radical and different. Despite attempts by nationalists to make religion or mysticism speak for nationalism, this is simply manipulation of people's belief systems. Typical of nationalist paganism is the use of the Celtic cross as a symbol on tattoos, banners, or flags of nationalists. Here is an example: Anarchists fight nationalism by rejecting it and exposing it's racism, sexism, homophobia, antisemitism and xenophobia" OK, but many people of varying political views are opposed to nationalism, it's not uniquely anarchist.
