- This looks like fun if I ever have any spare time again. Write a bit of fiction, a "ficlet", and other people can add to it.

- From the page: "A ficlet is a short story that enables you to collaborate with the world." This year's (2007) SXSW rant by Bruce Sterling had some rude things to say about collaborative fiction (may be fixtion is a nice term) and along comes this.

- I'm on the fence with this thing. On one hand, it's actually a great idea and something I've been looking for a while now. On the other hand, signing up for it is a cumbersome pain in the ass. You don't really even sign up for this site as carry your membership over from livejournal or openID (?) into it. I don't care how "web 2.0" it is, that is a bloody retarded concept.

I'm really out of practice with my fiction writing shebang and this might be a useful little thing if I don't just let it rot on the vine. - I'm on the fence with this thing. - Two great things that I'd like to note: Ease of uploading the ficlets Prequels and sequels - I think it really adds to the website, and is a great exercise for writers to think of divergent beginnings and ends of stories. To be a good writer, one of the things is to write something everyday. This site is a good way to do that and be able to interact with others at the same time!
