Huxley's hedonistic world wasn't all that bad. It was 1984 that gave me the chills.

The comic was great. The message on target. I just don't understand sites that post other people's work and at don't at least link to the original. http://www.recombinantrecords.net/docs/2009-05-Amusing-Ourselves-to-Death.html I "liked" the original, though I found it via fatpita.net and stumble. All of these "fun" collections of things from around the world would be great if they actually put the things they shared in context and at least cited the source. Because fatpita posted the cartoon I will be seeing what else they have to offer, but please give credit where credit is due.

What each of needs is to find the right balance in life. Pleasure and pain are both necessary in life. There are many contrasts in life that in many cases cannot be done away with. Many times they come together as a package.

Is it overly pessimistic to think that they both were right?
