coldstatue rated 3 months ago- who's the jackass that exploited this text to put his/her own political rantings within the lines and pretends it's spiritually inspired? crazy fucker. (social security... what a douche. behold, the true purpose of religion - political control and mobilization!)

- I almost thought this was beautiful. "Take counsel. I hear your cry. It passes through the darkness, filters through the clouds, mingles with starlight, and finds its way to my heart on the path of a sunbeam. I have anguished over the cry of a hare choked in the noose of a snare, a sparrow tumbled from the nest of its mother, a child thrashing helplessly in a pond, and my son shedding his blood on a cross. Know that I hear you, also. Be at peace. Be calm." certainly a poetic and beautiful start. Then you had to be an asshole and start politicizing it with your "[Government social] security" and your "[atheist democratic] mobs" the author's work stands much stronger on its own than with your blatant agenda plastered onto it; and in any case, since when does social security limit your potential? If you don't benefit from it then you pay for it, to be sure, but the money you pay goes to helping to needy. Are you against helping the needy? If you do benefit from it, then it's the lifesaver keeping your head above the water, which certainly doesn't limit your potential. I find your [atheist democratic] comment to be PARTICULARLY offensive. The concept that atheist mobs are trampling your individuality is laughable. We're talking about a country where atheists account for perhaps 10% of the population and yet have a single representative in congress. They have close to 1/50'th their fair share of representation. Meanwhile, 75% of Americans are Christian. Atheists are offended when government takes THEIR tax dollars and uses them to promote someone else's religion, in explicit violation of the constitution. Wouldn't you be? How would YOU like to pay money promoting a message you believe is false?

Tryptofan rated 3 months ago- Wow, a message! A message from the Lord! God be praised! *trumpets* Errrrr, yeah. The only problem with this "message from God" idea is that it's from the Bible and the Bible was written by ordinary everyday people and designed to achieve a political goal... Meh, whatever blows your hair back....

Jna1985 rated 4 months ago- Beautiful..

EpicVikingMetal rated 4 months ago- good, but should have stayed away from politics

Er1 rated 4 months ago- Leans a little close to prosperity theology and Osteenism. Even worse, the web page author chose to parenthetically insert American right-wing Republican thought. That's ridiculous. If the writing is so good, let it stand on its own.

su-malacore rated 4 months ago- "YOU ARE THE GREATEST MIRACLE IN THE WORLD!" obviously.... This page shows the main psychological trick of religion doctrines: convince people that with this/that particular religion they are special and different from the mass.

Verena2010 rated 4 months ago- What garbage. Advice for earthly success dressed up in Bible verses.
