- God took him through the fire quite literally. Lt. Col. Birdwell has a compelling story to tell.

- I am not going to give it a negative purely because of the connections, but this page hints of trying to make profit from a disaster. It is also quite self centered in terms of it is all about Brian.. And I don't know what Lt. Co. (Ret.) means, but is it neccesary?

Of the burns that consumed 60 percent of his body, nearly half were third degree, resulting in the need for 30 operations. Brian's recovery has been truly remarkable and spiritually he is stronger than ever before.
