Advice like Josh's may help explain the curious phenomenon I have noticed recently of being friended by newcomers with little or nothing to show, then defriended on their next visit.Presumably they friend everyone they visit in the hopes of reciprocation, unaware that we need to weigh them up against the 200 people we may have already friended. In Facebook and other networks they might be able to click a button as many times as they like and say "we're friends", but there are limits here, and I think they work to the good. They force genuine stumblers to make some decisions about what they want to see and leave aside those who are inactive or have little to say.Which do you want, unmanageable numbers of people you vaguely call friends or a smaller number you can actually keep up with and build a rapport with?I would be surprised if marketers are having much success here. Bad news travels fast on the grapevine and those who are simply promoting themselves or their products get lambasted or ignored.Get the message, salesmen -- we're here to get away from spin, and can smell it a mile off.

More Stambler crap; as the reviews indicate, this kind of junk is getting tiresome. Even better, this clown hides his negative reviews. Jackassery to the Nth degree.

From the page: "Stumble alot. The more thumbs up or down you give, the stronger your stumbles will be. This is as simple as the obvious. " SU is for self benefit, not popularity. We are a group of self-serving egoists and those of you on here for the sole purpose of becoming a "power stumbler" need to learn about a little site called Myspace. Get this shit off my SU. Thumbs down to the site and to the author as well for being such a whore. Enjoy.

I'm sick and tired of these. Are those who care idiotic enough to need advice on getting more audience?
