ByExample discovered 4 months ago- This is horrible news. I've spent weeks at a time in California meandering from park to park, both coastal and in-land -- always in awe of the amazing and diverse landscapes. But according to this web source: "To help balance the budget Gov. Shwarzenegger has proposed closing 48 state parks. Yet this move will only save $9 million, less than 0.1 percent of the state's budget." If you have ever considered taking a vacation or road trip to CA then please consider taking action to prevent the closing of these parks.
