sargt000 discovered 12 months ago- i had a boyfriend that used to make fun of me because i had what he considered an irrational fear of overpasses. the highway that goes into vancouver is always super backed up because people drive like morons, and whenever i'd visit him and we'd head into the city, we'd be stuck in traffic and i'd avoid being under the overpasses, leaving this big gap that sometimes some asshole in the next lane would fill, and it drove him nuts. but lately, this fear seems far less irrational. first this happened, now this. anyway, i'm sad for these families yet relieved that it's not much, much worse. and now i'm going to be freaked out being ON these things as well as under them. damn it all.
