sargt000 discovered 13 months ago- HOORAY! i worked in the same office as a woman who refused to drink anything but bottled, flavored water (she also had a perm and wore IKEDA overalls). the single serving size only. doesn't recycle. and she works for a non-profit environmental organization. it blew my mind. but seriously folks - most of the water you buy is no safer/cleaner than your own tap water or what you can get from a brita. or at least by the big jugs and refill your own reusable water bottle. the amount of energy and water required to RECYCLE these bottles is astronomical, and don't forget the ones that are just thrown away. remember that REDUCE and REUSE come before RECYCLE. that's my rant for today.
