CamillaHughes discovered 3 months ago- According to the World Bank, global food prices were 57% higher in March than in the same month of 2007. World rice prices have risen 96% and more for some types, between October 2007 and April 2008.

onreact-com rated 3 months ago- The global food crisis is really daramatic. In capitalism it's all about supply and demand. So poor people starve for rich people's made climate change.

bs1999bs rated 3 months ago- At a time when so many are in despair about how to fuel their vehicles it is sobering to see so many in the World suffering from starvation. This is a global economy "gone mad" - is this by design? After-all it's a great way to have the masses in the hands of the rich and powerful! Nothing makes people more compliant than an empty stomach and a family in despair!

gavinhudson rated 3 months ago- A whole lot of figures on the emerging food crisis all in one place.
