I'm pretty much with 'secretengineer' below. Calling a huge box of wood sustainable and eco seems moot when... you're wasting wood for decoration. Build planters and benches out of scrap, or rammed earth or the like if you truly want to be sustainable. The earth is not running low on dirt, clay, sand, stone.

Nice, but wouldn't work in Houston or any place where humidity and rain overcome the city.

This is a pretty cool concept. I was just thinking earlier this evening about building something like this to house my families pic-nic table in our front yard. Something that could be used even when it rained. Wow, all my great ideas get published before I even get off the ground with them.
