Good article - and with the Economist on the green agenda, environmentalism really has gone mainstream! Of course, the Economist is staunchly capitalist and thus their analysis only goes so far. Recycle more: good. Design better: good. Consume less: that's the bit that's missing here.

An interesting article about recycling but where are the words that say don't create useless stuff in the first place and where is the mention of reusing things like bottles to that they don't need to be recycled. The world needs to look at the bigger picture not just one where profits can be made by alluding to a bit of the job.
