Only problem with this is that there's not much scatter... only a few plants will actually survive from each of these, right? There has to be a more effective means of doing this. (Also, wouldn't it be best to spread medicinal or edible plants? Ones that are more useful to humans and animals alike vs just flowers?) Though heh... I have been doing this sort of stuff for years. I know I hit a wal-mart well enough that there are flowering vines (morning glories) growing in almost all of their bushes, with the roots close enough to the roots of the bushes that they can't just be yanked up... oh, and they're perennial varieties. :D

I've often thought this would be a good way to re-introduce hemp to the British landscape.

Neat idea!! using native seeds would be best, just so you don't accidentally introduce an aggressive non-native species, which would defeat the purpose...I can be so logical sometimes, it scares me...

I always like ideas like this. I will try to remind myself to do it when it's not -40 out like it is now! We should all get involved with guerilla gardening.

For real anti-establishment/ activist fun, roll the finished seed bombs in Stropharia Cubensis spores and throw into the lawns and gardens of corporate office buildings, Wal-Mart plant pots, supermarket parking lots and (for a coup de grace) the lush vegetation of your local amusement park!
