- Seriously? A single acre can produce enough income to support a person? That's brilliant - that's exactly what I've been waiting to hear... The biggest detractors of farming for me have always been the need to manage staff to help bring in the harvest, and the expensive equipment and land purchases. Proof that it's possible in a large backyard with only a few tools from Canadian Tire and some friends is very welcome news.

- This is a good idea, helps with the 'heat island' effect too. Just dont plant them too close to roads or industrial areas.
