Stephen Wiltshire is a human camera. He's an autistic man who accurately draws entire cities from memory after a single 45-minute helicopter ride -- right down to the correct number of windows in each building. I must note that there was a time limit, and that this is just a part of... more

This is so neat--wonderful and inspiring to watch, and says a lot about what the mind is capable of. "Stephen Wiltshire is an autistic man who accurately draws entire cities from memory after a single 45-minute helicopter ride -- right down to the correct number of windows in each building." Wow.

autistic man who can draw cities from memory with accurate details. this demonstrates him drawing an ariel view of rome after a short helicopter ride. incredible. i worked with an autistic man who couldn't seem to grasp making change of a dollar no matter how much we worked with him, however if you named any date he could tell you which day of the week it was. you would say may 14th, 1923 and he would say Tuesday (or whatever). If you checked he was never ever mistaken. the human mind rocks my world.

I find that whenever I think of people who are Autistic, I think of something different. This really changed my stereotype!
