I'd like to see Google Docs have a function that allows me to publish directly to different blogging platforms like Windows Live Writer. Its has a similar feature but is very bare bones. I love Google Docs - this is just a wishlist of mine.

It's three major lacks, imho, are 1) automatic page breaks in Google Documents (i.e. if you're working on a paper for school you have no way to tell as you type when you've thrown enough words onto the screen to fill a page), and 2) an automated way to keep a functional backup copy of all your online spreadsheets stored on your local PC in case of emergency (as of Dec. 1, 2008), and 3) it's hard for many people rooted in Microsoft Word to switch over to it because gDocs still fails to import all formatting from their Word .DOCs with 100% accuracy, and likely has the same issues in reverse when gDoc users export their gDocs to .DOCs for collaboration with those who won't brave leaving the familiarity of the Microsoft machine (as of May 27, 2009).

Kate (Khook20) & I use Google Docs almost daily. It's a fantastic tool, though not without it's rough edges. That said, if you're wanting to collaborate across time zones, Google Docs is the place to start...
