A great article on SEOing a site. There is a lot of solid information here. Being a content guy, I really like the focus on content. It is the reason people go to sites. Good content that is well laid out and easy for people to find on the search engines will win in the long run. Of course, it would be advisable to have some other marketing strategies at work to help people find your content a little more quickly. I found the suggestion of 250-500 words of content per page interesting. I tend to like to write a lot, so sometimes I have to cut things down and tighten it up. As long as your content is useful and well laid out, going over that limit isn't too bad. You could look at splitting the content up into smaller chunks and publishing it over several days too. Breaking that 250-500 words into smaller chunks is also very important. I often find myself breaking text up into 2-3 line paragraphs. Descriptive subheads make it easier for people to navigate it too. Overall, a really good article. Talk to me in a year! :)
