skoobe1 discovered 6 months ago- Not for light hearted reading but an eye opener all the same. If you have someone close you suspect may be in this situation, then this will be valuable reading. The video adds to the table too!

With covert depression, you don't see the disease, but instead see the footprints of the disease or the defenses a man is using to run away from it. We may see the self-medication, isolation or lashing out in anger. The self-medication may be drinking, drugging, or womanizing. It can even be expressed as a need to seek oblivion, such as obsessions with gambling or even just watching TV."

Tyrhaynes rated 5 months ago- I think that this explains a lot. Most of those signs hit the mark unfortunately. I'm pretty good at masking depression though and most people would never know about it.
