newwes rated 2 weeks ago- From the page: "DefendtheDefenders.org raises money and awareness for the defense of soldiers and Marines whose actions in the heat of combat are being second-guessed." This is one of the noblest causes that any American citizen can support. We are currently in a conflict raging in two countries and politicians and lawyers are trying to run the action on the ground from half a world away instead of letting trained leaders and war-fighters do what the jobs we pay them to do. In addition, there are traitors like Jack Murtha dragging our good soldiers, sailors and Marines names through the mud without any evidence, putting them and their families through the hell of multiple court battles to prove their innocence. War is hell and bad things always happen in war, but these men and women should never have to go through the shit they are being put through. Too many lives, including many close personal friends, have already been ruined by Jack Murtha and people like him and come out vindicated but nearly broken by the experience.

patoloco rated 7 months ago- This is a controversial issue, and the media has made this ten times worse than in any other time in our history. Watch theses WWII documentaries with veterans describing acts that today would be considered "horrific war crimes" but in 1943 were considered "necessary". I have been a fraction of a millimeter away (squeezing the trigger) from killing innocent civilians myself. It just takes a fraction of a second to make a mistake in an environment where you are literally scared for your life. I know some of these guys charged (and I know some of the acquitted). I KNOW them. They're not psychopaths out to murder people and inflicting death and injury because they are cruel. They're "good guys". One of them I trained and in my evaluation said of him "he is ruled by common sense". I'm 100% positive he didn't cover up anything (he's being charged with a cover up, not murder itself), but he's been convicted in the press already. So, PLEASE, don't listen to these initial press releases. Don't listen to people like Mr Murtha. Wait for an investigation. Wait for the whole story to come out. NEVER judge anyone by the first accounts, they're usually inflated (better, inflamed) by the press. Yes, there are horrible crimes committed during a war. Yes, not all these people will be proven innocent. But most of them are. A vast majority of our armed forces are honest, honorable people. You know them...don't you? Don't you know at least one person in the military? Do they strike you as a murderer? (if they do, get new friends!)

SKURS rated 7 months ago- We love and support our troops!!

THEDEVMAN1 rated 7 months ago- F**K I hate lawyers and libs! More of the same Bullshit from the left! At least there is a site dedicated to smacking them around and cutting through the deception, that the left promotes. Stop messing with our troops! Oh AND STOP SAYING YOU SUPPORT THEM! LIARS!

FASTERCAT rated 7 months ago- It pisses me off that this is necessary.

LadyCeara rated 25 months ago- What the PC idiots do not realize is that in war people are going to kill or be killed. When fighting irregular fighters i.e. those who don't wear a uniform and hide behind civilians, you cannot take a chance. If we could fight this was as it should be fought without worrying about the looney liberals raising hell about it, it would be over and done with.

anneliese rated 31 months ago- From the page: "DefendtheDefenders.org stands behind the man who puts his life on the line again and again, who makes life or death decisions in the blazing heat, exhaustion, fear and confusion of war while conducting combat operations intended to capture or kill the enemy and as a result of his actions in combat becomes the subject of an investigation or even formal charges."

Revan999 rated 32 months ago- truely a great site , please donate !

greenchair rated 32 months ago- From the page: "DefendtheDefenders.org raises money and awareness for the defense of soldiers and Marines whose actions in the heat of combat are being second-guessed." Well, I don't knoow who would be doing THAT. I thought everyone supported the troops, expecially PC libs. This has to be a typo.
