Every single practicing chemist I have ever known and queried has: 1. Blown something up on purpose, usually before choosing chemistry 2. Blown something up or set fire to something by accident, usually after choosing chemistry. The physicists seem to find a wider variety of tools for mayhem. We really don't need instructions for things to *not* not try at home. I hope my brother and husband never find this - they do fine with their own creativity.
