Take the money and run all laugh all the way to the bank. Funny but still a painful truth.

so close to funny. It was unfortunate the writer felt he needed to explain his chapter 11 joke.

I admit, I chuckled... but, behind that chuckle is a certain realization that thousands of people are losing their jobs because of the suckage of GM, and THAT is not funny. GM slit their own throat by fighting against improvement of their product in any way, shape or form. They became stagnant, stale, and left behind when it came to being innovative and fresh. They spent BILLIONS on lobbying against improvement, safety, and workers... They were handed BILLIONS to improve, yet what did they do with that money? They spent it on jets, CEO posh lifestyles, and lawyers... I do not have a single bit of pity or sympathy for GM. They have spent years creating an inferior product, fighting against their workers, and basically being corporate asshats. Is it any wonder that few felt the need to "rescue" them again?
