C.S. Lewis once said, "You don't need to defend a Lion. You just need to let him out of his cage."

i loved the chronicles of narnia when i was little. i wish i weren't bothered so much by his christian works that i can't read them anymore. i acknowledge that it's my own problem, though.

C. S. Lewis was many things to many people. A gifted philosopher and educator. A masterful writer known for his acclaimed "Narnian Chronicles." A stalwart and rational defender of the Christian faith. Lewis was more than the sum of his parts, of course, but this site provides a competent overview of the man and his work. Recommended.

"You never know how much you really believe anything until its truth or falsehood becomes a matter of life and death to you. A Grief Observed" His Chronicles were one of my favoirte read when I was in elementary scholl and still remain so, but "Id like to find out about the man behind the stories, a man who must have been someone exceptional indeed.
