LeonardoDaVinci rated 15 months ago- That's a bit too much work, with too little return, storage capacity-wise. And what happens if you lose one of your sticks? If its a striped array, you're screwed. Of more interest as a nerdy science project, or, just something to do.

Cyclohexane01 rated 7 months ago- I've heard of some pretty stupid ideas in the past, but this one, I admit, takes the cake.

- LOL
ok so I like the solid state idea but..
Your bottled necked by USB2 bandwidth.
If it was USB3, then I would do this.
However this is useless..

- What cake are you talking about Cyclohexane01?
gamkiller rated 7 months ago- Me and a friend have an idea for a really useless cluster(I'm not revealing the awesomeness of this idea) for which this RAID might be useful. Too bad it won't work for very long if data is actually continuously written to the array. However, with our plan, that would not be an issue. Snicker snicker..
uhohzombies rated 7 months ago- A LOT of people are missing the sarcasm and humor in this, judging by the other reviews.
RobertShuttlebut rated 10 months ago- So someone built a RAID with USB sticks as the storage medium. This is a totally useless and yet (embarrassingly) totally cool thing to do.
