 Faz465 rated 10 months ago- what? i know i'm not always doing my best, telling people they dont have to work at it doesnt seem helpful. its much more constructive to identify the reasons why you're not doing your best than saying repeating 'i'm doing my best' to yourself

 rick-cockrum rated 11 months ago- Lyman's thesis is we're doing the best we can with what we got. Does this mean we shouldn't change? No. It does mean beating ourselves up won't help us. Or, as Lyman says, "You're still doing the best that you can. Maybe you could start by not kicking the shit out of yourself for kicking the shit out of yourself?".

It was like the universe was reassuring me with a reminder that all is well and everything will work out for the best. Great article!
