    Flaneuse schooled those in the use of statistical sociology. Many people on this SU forum seem have trouble grasping the point of this graph aswell. I wonder if they're mostly followers of the "social-darwinism" theory. That said, Prole is right on.

    thanks captian obvious. no matter how the the money is distributed, the richest 20% is alway going to have a decent amount more than the 21-40%. Also im willing to bet money that if you are reading this you are probably in the top 20%. with earths population of ~6.8 billion that leaves about 1.36 billion per section. Coincidentally, The rough population of Europe + the US + Canada + Japan is about 1.4 billion. Who would have guessed that pretty much the whole developed world holds most of the money?

    yah it's the better than it was years ago ... but it's still wrong. i'd bet that very few people in the top twenty percent do work that warrants them such a big salary.
