- All that matters is cable cross section. Nothing wrong with 2 x 2.5mm Flex for speaker wires. Less than a euro a metre (I don't know in dollars as it seems to fluctuate wildly (downwards)) :) beat me

- This scam has been going on forever? If it were true Monster would have tvs side by side to show the difference.

- Monster cables are a rip-off. They are marked up over 1000% above wholesale price and they sound no better than a coat hanger.
