When the phone is ready, so am I. No iphone for me. I'd love it with an Omnia.

This is it ladies and gentlemen, get your sleeves up, Google will dish out 10 million dollars in prizes to those who write the best apps for their Mobile phone OS called ANDROID (will they offer a prize for a better name I wonder?).

With $10m going towards the development of new apps for android, I can only imagine the endless sweet apps that are going to be available for android, even at the time of the first devices with it.. My guess is that it instantly surpasses Windows Mobile, PalmOS, etc... but we'll see. It also allows a ton of room for many developers working on the same types of apps and just re-inventing the wheel... oh well, more options for us. :)

This is Google's new mobile OS. I don't know if it beats my iPhone but it does look cool :)

From the page: "Android does not differentiate between the phone's basic and third-party applications -- even the dialer or home screen can be replaced."
