bapuji rated 11 months ago- Interesting, but I think many people take this whole concept of "cliches" too far. I mean, really, the word "approximately" is a cliche?? It's a useful word that actually means something. Many of these phrases have descriptive power and meaning. Is any commonly-used phrase to be labeled a cliche and discarded? Sometimes phrases are common because they're FUCKING USEFUL.

heyitsmejaya rated 15 months ago- From the page:
armed to the teeth
walking encyclopedia
death and destruction
battle royale
Cliches make me gag and smile at the same time. While it hurts my facial muscles, the four cliches above are some of my favorites. Let's see if I can successfully turn them into one coherent sentence.
Armed to the teeth with the only things I could consider weapons from my car (in this case I could only find a pair of CUTE shoes I left in there from last night and a fist full of change, which I successfully turned into a weapon with the addition of a sock) I, a walking encyclopedia of death and destruction, was able to prepare myself for the impending battle royale.
Double DANG. BOOYAH in your facial! Wait... I'm pretty sure that entire sentence is wrought with grammatical errors, but you know what -- let's not focus on that.- From the page:

jeffsolodky rated 19 months ago- A good list of cliches, which are hard to find, but easy to realize.

Superfloon rated 19 months ago- A list of common cliches used in writing. No bells and whistles here, simply a good reference.
