- These truck environmental units allow truckers to turn in at truck stops without having to idle their engines all night to either run AC or stay warm. The savings is several gallons of fuel per night. Multiply that by the millions of trucks on the roads, and these become a wonderful solution to cutting down on our fuel consumption.
