 metalkpretty1 rated 8 months ago- this list breaks its own rules by offering a bunch of phrases with no explanation as to why not to say them. my parents continually told me I was spoiled as a kid & I never understood what they meant, was I mushy & blue like the apple forgotten in the back of the fridge? and, of course, it damaged me for life! uh, no. (and anyway, if I was spoiled wasn't it THEIR fault?) I just find this list lame & maybe causing needles worry, don't be a jerk to your kids, that's what you should focus on, not a script.

- Hmm. The article has one very major fault - it doesn't explain WHY those phrases are 'bad'. That aside, I take huge offense to the "the best you could" being not good enough. For goodness sake, we have enough trouble learning by the seat of our pants without having "you better do it right or else" shoved into the mix.

- This site can eat a dick. Until you know what it's like to actually be a parent and go through it, don't give advice that comes out sounding as ridiculous as this shit does. When your kid is screaming and hitting, trying to bite people, lying on the floor in a wriggling fit, you're wrong for asking him if he wants a spanking?!?!!? ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?!?! I hope the kids of whoever wrote this end up being the next Menendez brothers.
